Covid-19 Precautions:

This season every haunt has had a different approach to covid procedures. This Year At Reapers Revenge Masks were completely voluntary which is in alignment with CDC and PA State Guidelines. Folks who wanted to wear them did so, and those who did not want to; did not. As always, you are in control of your own space, if social distancing is important to you, please be mindful of your physical space and keep a distance from those around you. If ever you’re uncomfortable with someone’s positioning in relation to where you are, kindly communicate with them to keep a safe distance. We highly recommend bringing your own travel size sanitizer to use at your convenience if this is of importance to you

We arrived at Reapers Revenge at 3pm for Reapers Annual Media event. During the day we had the honor to go through all the attractions on the mountain with zero actors. We were led through the sets by one of the Owners Todd. We started on the hayride and made our way through lost carnival, delirium & our last stop was sector 13. This was such a fun opportunity to see the haunt in a different light and hear stories of all the amazing individuals that come together to make Reapers Revenge what it is! After our daytime tour, we had some amazing food catered by Texas Roadhouse. Around 7:30pm it was time to head onto line for the hayride!!

At Reapers Revenge everyone starts at the same place. You get on the line for the hayride first, then each corresponding haunt after that leads straight into the next. There is an option to purchase a VIP pass which will put you into a separate line which loads the hayride after a full cycle of loading each of the lines before it. There are about 4 lines of regular hayride that will load before VIP gets to load the hayride. It acts as a whole line entirely on its own. This is a very good option for high volume nights. If you are not a fan of waiting on long lines, we always suggest opting for the VIP option. While in the park there are always various haunt actors walking around entertaining the crowds. There is also a giant bonfire and various spooky/rock music that plays throughout the night. Reapers has some pretty good food options. For example, they sell pizza, mozzarella sticks, fries, funnel cakes of all sorts (The Oreo and pumpkin are AMAZING) and various other sweets! They also have water, coffee, and various sodas. There are ATMS on the grounds for those who forget to bring cash. There are fees, so please try to bring cash! There are tons of over-the-top photo ops and props scattered throughout the mid-way to take photos with! There are several Bathrooms placed throughout the mountain. There is a large cluster before you hit the midway and another cluster near pitch black! They also have a cute giftshop we highly recommend checking out!

It’s important to note, Reapers Revenge is a high thrill haunt. They WILL touch you here. If you would not like to be touched you will be given a glow necklace that you can wear around your neck for the Hayride, lost carnival, Delirium, and Sector 13. This glow necklace is NOT ALLOWED in Pitch Black. These are the most intense of the 5 attractions. You Have the option to skip past pitch black for those who absolutely do not feel comfortable. You will be touched and put into uncomfortable situations in both attractions. It’s important you know this before coming to the haunt. You do NOT have to do Pitch Black. It takes roughly 1.5-2hours to get through all the haunts from start to finish. Please plan for longer times during peak season, although they work very hard to control the lines and ensure a straightforward experience.

Reapers Revenge has one of the most iconic hayrides in the US. There were some major changes to the beginning of the first scene. There is a brand-new gate keeper that welcomes you onto the mountain and kicks off your journey into the famous reapers woods. Some iconic sets to look out for, are the ring, the cemetery scene, Jason, Freddy, Michael Meyers, and my personal favorite scene is pumpkin hill!! They have an amazing new set which includes the original soul seeker from the first scene. It is chock full of FIRE, fog, and some beautiful life like props that will scare you right out of your pants!! Look out for some fun & unexpected twists throughout your journey and remember.. DO NOT TOUCH THE ACTORS, or Use your cellphones during your trip. The security guards WILL stop the hayride and ask you to leave.

Delirium is the newest attraction to the amazing lineup at Reapers Revenge. You enter Delirium immediately after exiting the Lost Carnival. It is made to be a continuation from the lost carnival into a 3D Nightmare of Clowns, Chaos & MURDER. This attraction was one of the best 3D haunts we have ever experienced. Some of our highlights include floating severed heads, And a maniacal mallet welding clown!

Pitch black is the most intense of the attractions at Reapers Revenge. It is a complete assault on your senses. You must go in this attraction without your glasses and zero accessories that can fall off and get lost. As mentioned in the title this attraction is done entirely in the PITCH BLACK Darkness. The moment you enter you are blown away by the ear piercing BUZZING frequency overhead which follows you throughout the entire journey. You must feel your way through the twists and turns of the terrifying maze. You will feel sudden changes of texture. Be prepare to experience slime, wet, rough, soft, hard, and abnormal textures constantly. This attraction is frightening and overall, a nightmare from start to finish.

Sector 13 is the most hands on attraction at Reapers Revenge. You CAN wear a glowstick during your time through the attraction. IF you opt not to wear the glow stick You will experience hands on interactions with the actors. They can and will grab you and put you into situations that seem uncomfortable or scary. It is all in good fun. You will not be hurt. You will not have anything put into your mouth. Anything which is done with props are to add to your experience. Although more intense than the others before it, Sector 13 is a lot of fun and worth checking out even if you are scared. You WILL have a good time! The theme is a mixture of aliens and high-level government experiments meets a containment infectious disease gone completely wrong. The sets are beautiful, the actors are committed and believable. The monsters are EVERYWHERE! Will you make it out alive?
