For your reference:

This season at Reapers Revenge was very different from prior years. Reapers Revenge is taking COVID19 and the precautions so seriously, that they changed everything about the way they run their haunt. Reapers Revenge is normally a high intensity, in your face, full contact haunt. This year due to COVID19, a lot of sacrifices had to be made including closing 2 of their signature, full intensity Haunts. We arrived at Reapers Revenge on Saturday, September 26th, around 8pm And immediately got in the VIP line for the hayride. Although crowds will be at a smaller capacity due to COVID19, we highly recommend opting for the VIP pass so you can head right into the VIP hayride line. This year expect to be on the grounds for roughly 1-1.5 hours as opposed to the traditional 2.5-3 hours.

Covid-19 Precautions:

Due to COVID19 Reapers Revenge chose to close their 2 most intense and full contact attractions Sector 13 & Pitch Black. They created a line directing all customers from the parking lot directly to the the hayride and splitting up Gen Admissions & VIP. Both lines were Socially distanced. All customers were told to keep within a safe distance from one another throughout their entire time at Reapers Revenge. Masks were strictly enforced at all times on the grounds. Before and after each attraction, there were hand sanitizer stations available for use. The hayride had a large sanitation system in place after each customer got off. In the new Delirium attraction, they installed sanitation dispensers for all of the 3D glasses. Every attraction had customers only going through with their group, with a safe time limit between customers coming in after you. All food attendants were wearing gloves & Masks. Bathrooms were clean and accessible throughout the park. They were loaded with hand sanitizer inside. Portable hand washing stations were available near each bathroom, stocked with soap and paper towels.

The hayride at Reapers Revenge is our absolute FAVORITE. The grand scale sets and designs go over and above & exceed our expectations year after year. Our highlights include Pumpkin Hill and the House of 1000 Corpses tunnel towards the end! During your trip on the hayride you will encounter some of your favorite classic horror slashers Our Favorites being Samara from the Ring & Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street. Through each scene you are stopped and immersed into the dark and wild world of your nightmares. Look out for some fun & unexpected twists throughout your journey and remember..DO NOT TOUCH THE ACTORS, or Use your cellphones during your trip. The security guards WILL stop the hayride and ask you to leave.

The Lost Carnival

Actors: 8/10

Makeup/Costumes: 7/10

Use of Props & Animatronics: 7/10

Set Design: 8/10

Overall Attraction Rating: 7.5/10

The Lost Carnival is usually a complete assault to your senses, with high intensity scares and actors in your face at all times. With the changes made this year, it did shorten the attraction quite a bit and had significantly less actors but all of this was done with the customers best interest in mind. Unfortunately the fun house section of the Lost Carnival was closed off this year, but the beautiful big sets & amazing props never cease to amaze us. You can expect KILLER Carnival Games, Deranged Clowns, Side Show Freaks & Carnival Rides gone COMPLETELY WRONG.

Delirium

BRAND NEW FOR 2020:

Actors: 7/10

Makeup/Costumes: 8/10

Use of Props & Animatronics: 10/10

Set Design: 10/10

Overall Attraction Rating: 8/10

Delirium is the newest attraction to the amazing lineup at Reapers Revenge. You enter Delirium immediately after exiting the Lost Carnival. It is made to be a continuation from the lost carnival into a 3D Nightmare of Clowns, Chaos & MURDER. This attraction was one of the best 3D haunts we have ever experienced. Some of our highlights include floating severed heads, And a maniacal mallet welding clown!

After exiting the hayride, you can choose to play a few carnival games, grab a bite to eat from several of their Food stands, or sit by the bonfire and enjoy the music. After completing our attractions we decided to grab some Cheese fries and have a seat by the fire! This has always been one of our favorite traditions at Reapers. Reapers Revenge always puts on an amazing show, It’s a haunt we always recommended for our followers to visit. It is an experience you absolutely DO NOT want to miss!
